REUSABLE BAG GIVEAWAY IN BC LIQUOR STORES

VANCOUVER - BC Liquor Stores will be giving away new, reusable bags with any purchase in a B.C. liquor store on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, as part of their environmental awareness campaign – Think Green Shop Smart.
 

“We’re supporting the government’s goal of caring for the environment,” said Jay Chambers, general manager of the BC Liquor Distribution Branch. “Since our store campaign began in early 2007, we’ve reduced our plastic bag distribution by 4.8 million bags.”

CELEBRATE FALL AT THE BEST OF BC WINE RELEASE & TASTINGS

VANCOUVER - BC Liquor Stores is proud to release the Best of BC wines at BC Signature Liquor Stores on Saturday, November 8, 2008.
 

Each Spring and Fall, the Best of BC wines is released in partnership with BC wineries to celebrate a special collection of premium Vintners Quality Alliance (VQA) wines. The Best of BC fall release brings together 32 premium VQA wines that include many prominent, high quality collectible wines.

BC LIQUOR STORES' DRY GRAD FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN UNDERWAY

VANCOUVER - BC Liquor Stores begins this year’s Support Dry Grad fundraising campaign on Wednesday, February 25, 2009.
 

Until March 31, BC Liquor Store customers will be able to support dry grad celebrations in their communities by donating $1 or more at their local BC Liquor Store. All donations will be distributed to high schools planning alcohol-free graduation celebrations.
