When we Multiply the Good, the results are better.
Multiply the Good is the next step in the LDB's commitment to giving back to the communities we serve. It creates a shared vision for how our people, our customers, and our industry partners can work together to enhance the good we do for the people of British Columbia.
It builds upon the good we have already accomplished through ongoing social impact campaigns to support Food Banks BC, Do You Proud, Red Cross, and more. Through our collective efforts, we Multiply the Good.
Multiply the Good focuses on four key pillars:
Engaging and supporting our PEOPLE,
Empowering our COMMUNITIES,
Sustaining the ENVIRONMENT, and
Collaborating with our industry PARTNERS.
More on each of the four pillars below!
PEOPLE |
Our aim is for employees across all areas of the LDB to engage in opportunities to help Multiply the Good. We also strive to be an inclusive organization where all employees are supported to reach their full potential.

Supporting Employee Engagement Our employees are an integral part of what we do. Our existing social impact campaigns are supported by many employees across our vast network of locations. We are committed to creating further opportunities for employees across all areas of the organization to help shape our impact journey and participate in Multiplying the Good. |
Advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion We are committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture, where all employees are supported to reach their full potential. We will advance diversity, equity, and inclusion at the LDB by reducing systemic barriers and providing employees access to training, engagement activities, and other DEI related programs. |
|
COMMUNITIES |
Our goal is to help communities throughout British Columbia be empowered to thrive through our support of programs which improve the lives of people living in British Columbia and enable access to essential resources.

Supporting Charitable Programs and Campaigns At the LDB, we take pride in supporting the communities we serve through our social impact campaigns. We will continue to support charitable programs and campaigns, with a focus on those that: ✓ Provide essential resources such as food and emergency response. ✓ Advocate for the improvement of lives of equity deserving groups. |
Reinforcing Social Responsibility LDB is a responsible distributor and retailer of beverage alcohol and cannabis, and we take our responsibility seriously. This includes keeping alcohol and cannabis out of the hands of minors. As part of our work, we are committed to reinforcing social responsibility and promoting responsible consumption of liquor and cannabis. |

ENVIRONMENT |
We are working to minimize our impact on the environment by doing our part to reduce our footprint through sustainable practices.
Reducing Our Environmental Impact At the LDB, we recognize our responsibility as a carbon-neutral organization and continue to take steps to reduce our environmental footprint. While progress has been made, there is still more to do. We will continue to focus on reducing our environmental impact by: ✓ Decreasing waste generated by our operations and the products we sell, as well as reducing energy consumption. ✓ Choosing sustainable alternatives during procurement when operationally feasible, including building materials and fleet options. ✓ Implementing more environmentally sustainable processes and programs. |
|
PARTNERS |
We aim to collaborate with our industry partners to help advance programs and practices which positively impact our communities and the environment.
Recognizing and Celebrating Industry Partners We will explore opportunities to recognize and celebrate our industry partners that show leadership in supporting diversity and inclusion, empowering our communities, and sustaining the environment. This may include recognizing brands supporting community impact efforts, celebrating diversity, those using sustainable farming practices, or innovative production infrastructure. |
|
|
Establishing Partnerships to Amplify our Efforts As part of our strategy, we will look for opportunities to collaborate with industry partners on initiatives that support our communities and the environment. This may include developing joint campaigns that align with our social impact strategy, coordinating efforts on shared priorities, and combining resources to support sustainability and community-focused programs. |
