To me, Pride is a remembrance of the 2SLGBTQIA+ history, meaning remembering the adversity and struggle our community has faced (and continues to face), but also the tenacity of spirit and the bravery of those who challenged the status quo to make the future better for all community members. Whether it’s shopping at local, queer-owned businesses, or volunteering my digital skills to benefit health, education and advocacy services for queer people, I try to give back where I can!
