LDB strengthens its commitment to multiply the good

BURNABY, BC – The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) is proud to launch Multiply the Good – the next step in the organization’s commitment to giving back to the communities it serves.

Multiply the Good is a program to enhance the LDB’s commitment to social impact – the recognition that organizations can have a broader impact on society and the environment, beyond sales and profit. It does so by creating a shared brand and unified vision for how the LDB’s people, customers, and industry partners can work together to enhance the good they do for the people of British Columbia today and into the future.

“The LDB is committed to making a positive difference, not just through the financial contributions we make to support vital public services, but also through our social impact and environmental initiatives,” said Blain Lawson, LDB’s General Manager and CEO. “I am proud of what we’ve accomplished through initiatives for Food Banks BC, Dry Grad, Do You Proud, Red Cross, and others – and these initiatives have an opportunity to accomplish even more going forward as part of Multiply the Good.”

This will be an ongoing journey, focused first on introducing Multiply the Good to the public and then attaching Multiply the Good branding to the LDB’s existing social impact initiatives. In the future, LDB will explore opportunities to expand the reach and scope of its social impact initiatives under the Multiply the Good banner, focusing on four key pillars:

  • Engaging and supporting our PEOPLE,
  • Empowering our COMMUNITIES,
  • Sustaining the ENVIRONMENT, and
  • Collaborating with our industry PARTNERS.

When we multiply the good, the results are better.
