Authenticity means doing what I do best: Being me. And Pride means doing whatever I can to make sure everyone can do the same. At work, people need a safe environment to be themselves. If there is a visible way I can make that happen, I tend to display it, proudly. When I had an office, I would hang the rainbow lanyards outside my door, just to let everyone who came in know: “your authentic self, welcome here”.
