To me, Pride means progression. We are only just over 50 years since decriminalized homosexuality, and it just demonstrates that we still have a long way to fight for equality. More importantly, pride is about celebrating love and unity. Love your neighbours, love those around you, and most importantly, love yourself. I feel immense privilege through my podcast to be honest and expressive about 2SLGBTQIA+ topics, and able to create a safe space and empower those whose voices aren’t heard as loudly.
