FASD Awareness
As part of our commitment to the responsible use of beverage alcohol, the Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) actively raises awareness and provides educational information to employees and the public, about the risks of alcohol use during pregnancy.
In consultation with the BC Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Society, and endorsed by the doctors, nurses and midwives of BC, the LDB has developed brochures and posters containing valuable information about alcohol and pregnancy. These materials are available to health care workers throughout the province.
