Wholesale Customer Centre Auxiliary

THE VANCOUVER WHOLESALE CUSTOMER CENTRE IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR AUXILIARY WHOLESALE CUSTOMER CENTRE SERVICE ASSOCIATE POSITIONS

 

The Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) Wholesale Customer Centre (WCC) processes Wholesale product orders and operates a convenient direct delivery and pick up service. Wholesale customers consist of Licensee Retail Stores, Rural Agency Stores, Duty Free Stores and Independent Wine Stores – all of these outlets operate retail locations for consumers. In addition, the WCC also services large Licensed Establishments (restaurants, hotels, pubs and bars). 

 

Staff at the Wholesale Customer Centre are dedicated to exemplary customer service, knowledge of the LDB’s product portfolio and issue resolution regarding orders, delivery and returns. The WCC has a unique office and warehouse environment – staff work in a variety of roles ranging from call centre customer service, data entry, assisting customers with online ordering, order checking, shipping and returns. 

 

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following entry level qualifications:

  • 19 years of age or older;
  • Able to legally work in Canada;
  • Able to provide excellent customer service;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010;
  • Excellent key-boarding skills;
  • Previous call centre experience would be an asset ;
  • Able to understand and communicate effectively in English;
  • Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 20-25 kg boxes repetitively;
  • Available to work all shifts – days, nights (graveyard) and weekends, as required.
  • Previous experience in the beverage alcohol industry would be an asset.
